Watermarks come in different shapes: a faint label across the middle of a clip, a small badge in a corner. Each one asks for a different box, so here are two.

A dark badge reading Export Preview sits in the lower left of a street-sport clip. It covers plain concrete, so the repair is easy to check.

A video watermark remover is made to take a watermark out of a clip and rebuild the picture behind it. You box the watermark. Use it only on videos you own or have permission to change.

Video Watermark Remover takes a watermark off a video: you mark where it sits and the picture behind it is rebuilt. It is meant for marks laid over footage, such as a corner mark, a username tag or a repeated pattern. For CapCut exports, start with the CapCut watermark guide.
These are the harder cases. A mark that moves has to be covered wherever it goes, and a pattern across the frame leaves very little clean picture to learn from. Expect to check the result closely. We have not published results for these cases yet.
Pick by what you see. A watermark is a mark added over footage, often to stop reuse. A logo is a brand mark that was part of the design, like a channel icon, and it has its own logo page. The marking is the same, so use whichever fits the look.
Compared
They all sit on top of the picture, but they behave differently, and that decides how hard they are to remove.
| Kind of mark | What it looks like | How hard it tends to be |
|---|---|---|
| Corner watermark | A small mark in a fixed corner, often a brand name. | Easiest. One short box and a small area to rebuild. |
| Moving watermark | A mark that jumps between corners or drifts across the frame. | Harder. It has to be covered wherever it goes, so check the whole clip. |
| Repeated or full-frame watermark | A faint pattern over the entire picture, like a stock preview. | Hardest. It touches everything, so little clean picture is left to learn from. |
| Logo | A brand mark that is part of the design, such as a channel icon. | Marked the same way. Use the logo page if that is what you see. |
| Timestamp or date stamp | Numbers burned in by a camera or an app. | The numbers often change every second, so check that they are fully gone. |

For editors and social teams working from an exported short clip rather than its project. Remove an obsolete mark before the next edit; remove editable layers or ending clips in the original app when available.
Choose a videoClear an old username mark from your own file before the next edit. Check every location; a fixed box does not track a mark that jumps between corners.
Use the saved video when a watermark is burned in and the project is unavailable. A removable CapCut ending is better deleted in the project.
Remove a draft label or obsolete campaign handle from footage you may edit before preparing the approved version.

Frame each watermark position closely, using up to three fixed boxes. Set a time range for each position; boxes do not track a moving mark automatically.
Review the credit estimate before submitting. After processing, check the full result and download the version you want to keep.

You box it like any other mark. Semi-transparent watermarks are harder, and results depend on the mark and the background.
You can mark up to three areas and set when each applies. A watermark repeated across the entire frame or moving continuously is harder; fixed boxes do not automatically find every copy.
