For ecommerce operators, localization editors, freelance editors and course teams who only have an exported short clip: clear an old price, date, fixed subtitle, lower third or title in owned or licensed footage, then reuse it in an editor. The tool does not add replacement captions, translate text or write new overlays. If the project is available, remove the original text layer first; switch off or delete a separate subtitle track when possible.

### Limits, free access and billing

- MP4, MOV or WebM · up to 60 seconds and 50 MiB

- Up to 2 AI trials, each up to 15 seconds; shared across removal tools, subject to verification and usage limits.

- Choosing, playing and marking a clip stays on your device. AI processing starts only after submission.

- Paid removal: 1 credit per second of the full clip; at least 3 billed seconds.

- Paid background removal: 1 credit per 2 seconds of the full clip, rounded up; at least 3 billed seconds.

- The full input clip is billed, even if a box is small or active for only part of it. Seconds are rounded up, with a 3-second minimum; the cost is shown before submission.

- Up to 3 fixed boxes with individual time ranges; no automatic motion tracking. Billing rounds the full clip up to whole seconds, with a 3-second minimum.

Annual fees are charged upfront and credits are released monthly, not all at once. Subscription credits have a monthly validity window; separately purchased packs do not renew and do not expire. ### Downloads, audio and quality limits

- The result checklist compares dimensions, duration, average frame rate, audio tracks and format with your original. These can change. Time-range exports are re-encoded in your browser; restoring the output size does not restore detail lost in processing.

- Listen to the downloaded file before reusing it. Time-range composition uses the original audio when supported; the direct processing output can differ. We do not guarantee every audio track or codec is preserved.

- This tool does not overlay a site watermark during export. Inspect the trial download for any marks already in the source or processing output.

- Waiting time depends on the clip and processing queue. Follow the task status; keep this tab open while a time-range result is being composed locally.

- Failed runs return their credits. A completed result can still have remnants, flicker or changed textures. For help, send the task ID through support; cash refunds follow the linked terms.

- Task files are kept for 7 days from creation and can be deleted sooner in My tasks. Download files you want to keep. File links can be accessed by anyone holding the link; processing providers have their own retention rules.

#### How do I remove text from a TikTok video?

If the text is still a layer in your own draft, delete that layer and export again. For words burned into a saved TikTok clip, mark their area here and set when they are on screen. A box does not track captions that move.

#### Can I remove text from Instagram Reels?

Use your original Reel file and mark the on-screen text you want to erase. For captions you can turn off in the app, try that setting first. A username or button shown by the Instagram player is not always part of the video file.

#### How do I remove CapCut text or a watermark?

If you have the CapCut project, delete the text layer or any removable ending clip and export again. For a mark burned into footage you may edit, use the watermark tool and box the mark. This is different from deleting a project layer.
